Best thing I ever discovered was the bucket feeding equipment here. Saves lots of time and the kids grow well. These nipples are great. Even the young kids take to them.

These nipple work great on the bucket units and also fit on plastic bottles for hand feeding. We use these instead of the Pritchard teats for supplementing. Lambs learn to use it as well as any other and they last a season or longer at our place.

Work great! The lambs take readily to them, no issues with leakage or stoppages. You do have to pull the ends open as the 'X' doesn't get cut 100% on all of them.
As for the fellow that had a problem, it sounds like he used them without the teat unit. No way they will work by just sticking the nipple in a hole in a bucket, they have to be used with the teat unit.
It helps to have a little food grade silicone or soapy water when assembling everything.

A total waste of time. Doesn't fit well on the bucket at and thus leakes milk, the lambs can pull it rhrough the pail -- wasted my money on this!
