  • Will power 3000' of multi strand fence, 4 164' sheep/goat nets and 2 of the 164' poultry nets. All distances are dependent on amount of grass/weed load on the fence.
  • Draws 10 mA per hour on a weed free fence. Draws 33 mA per hour on a weedy fence.
  • A 12v 100 ampere hour battery will last approximately 250* days on a clean fence and 75* days on a weedy fence. *Assumes being drawn down to 40% between recharges.
  • Load-sensing circuitry that reduces the energy drain from the battery by up to 70% when the air is dry and the fence is clean of weeds.
  • LED light indicates if fence voltage is low.
  • LED light indicates if battery is adequately charged or not.

How to Use

IntelliShock 20B:

  1. Connect red lead's bare wire end to fence terminal and clip other end of lead to fence
  2. Connect black lead's bare wire end to ground terminal and clip other end of lead to ground rod.
  3. Push black on/off button to turn on.
  4. Test fence.

6-Light Tester:
    For Fence:
  1. Insert the probe of the tester into the soil.
  2. Remove your hand from the metal portion of the probe (to avoid a shock).
  3. To get a voltage reading, touch the metal clip (on the top of the tester) to the electrified fence you wish to test.
  4. The tester will light up according to the voltage at that location on the fence.
  5. Remove the tester from the fence and the probe from the soil. Do not remove the probe by pulling the insulated wire.
    For Energizer:
  1. Turn off energizer.
  2. Disconnect ground wire and fence wire from energizer.
  3. Turn on energizer.
  4. Touch probe from tester to ground terminal on energizer (be sure to hold onto the insulated wire and not the metal probe!)
  5. At same time touch the fence hook on tester to fence terminal on energizer.
  6. The tester should light up to 6000 volts or more.

Precautions

IntelliShock 20B:

  • Make sure the energizer is turned off before working on the fence or the energizer.
  • Use on size appropriate fences.

165 amp Battery: Has a 2-year shelf life if the air seal is not removed. Not rechargeable.

6-Light Tester: Be careful to not pull the ground probe out of the soil by grabbing the black ground wire. The wire and the probe could become separated in which case the tester will not function.
Warranty

Intellishock 20B-Our unique 2-Year Warranty: If an energizer fails within 2 years from the purchase, Premier will replace the module/unit at our cost (unless the reason for its failure is customer abuse or neglect). Your credit card will be charged for the replacement but you will receive full credit when the failed item is back at Premier. Your only cost is shipping the failed item to us. If the original energizer is over 2 years old, we will repair and/or replace it, but you pay for the repair cost and freight.

We've simplified the process and taken the "guess" work out by offering kits to complete your poultry fence system. You will need a Poultry net kit and a Energizer kit.
The net is a 48 in. electrifiable prefabricated fence. It arrives at your door as a complete roll with the posts already built into the mesh/fence.
White vertical plastic strings are "welded" to black and white electro-plastic horizontal strings. They are supported by 1/2 in. diameter white plastic PVC posts--which are spaced throughout the netting. Each post has a small, steel spike that is to be inserted into the ground for support.
Kit Contains:
  • 1 - 164 ft. roll of 48 in. PoultryNet (choose either single or double spike netting).
  • 5 - Additional 48" PowerPosts for corner and end support

Prefabricated, ready to use, lightweight garden and critter fence. Hand tension is all that is required. Line posts are already built into the fence and usually can be inserted and removed by hand without tools. Exactly like VersaNet 20 (see Accessories below) but 10 in. taller so it also will stop coyotes, small to medium breeds of sheep as well as pigs.
Key features:
  1. Very close mesh spacing. Lowest energized horizontal strands are 2 in. apart and the verticals only 3 in. apart.
  2. It's short. So it's easy to install and remove. Also, most adults can easily step over it.
  3. Highly adaptable. Like all of our nets, they almost self-adjust to irregular shapes, curves, corners, etc.
    4. Two colors available: White and black: Most visible. Use when aesthetics are less important. Green: Less visible. Use where aesthetics are important and there is less likelihood of contact by uninformed human visitors.
