VersaNet® 11/30/3 Electric Netting
Prefabricated, ready to use, lightweight garden and critter fence. Hand tension is all that is required. Line posts are already built into the fence and usually can be inserted and removed by hand without tools. Exactly like VersaNet 20, but 10 in. taller so it also will stop coyotes, small to medium breeds of sheep as well as pigs.
Key features:
- Very close mesh spacing. Lowest energized horizontal strands are 2 in. apart and the verticals only 3 in. apart.
- It's short. So it's easy to install and remove. Also, most adults can easily step over it.
- Highly adaptable. Like all of our nets, they almost self-adjust to irregular shapes, curves, corners, etc. Two colors available: White and black: Most visible. Use when aesthetics are less important. Green: Less visible. Use where aesthetics are important and there is less likelihood of contact by uninformed human visitors.
Is your net sagging? See our VersaNet PLUS has posts every 6.8 ft (vs. 11.5 ft for standard VersaNet). More posts means less sag and a more versatile fence. See accessories tab below.

| Common Uses |
Keeps out raccoons, rabbits, foxes, medium size dogs, woodchucks and skunks. Can also be used to keep in medium sized breeds of sheep and pigs. |
| Specs |
Each net comes with 1 Warning Sign and 1 Repair Kit. |
| Benefits |
Easy to move. Choice of 2 colors. End posts act as built in gates if needed, otherwise most folks can step over fence after it has been unhooked from the energizer. Taller size (30" instead of 20") is better protection for a wider range of animals. |
| Cost |
#202900 - $.80 per ft (164' green roll with single spike posts). #202950 - $.80 per ft (164' b/w roll with single spike posts). |
| Installation |
See PDF above for installation instructions. |
| Precautions |
Dry or frozen ground many cause the NetPost spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. |
| Troubleshooting |
If the voltage drops below 3000v on the net, you need to turn off the energizer and unhook the net from the energizer. Test just the energizer by itself. If the voltage is 5000v or higher on the energizer the problem is in the net. The most common problem is that the lowest "hot" strand has been caught around one of the metal spikes on the posts and is shorting it out. The net must be at least 2" away from anything metal (metal posts, existing fences, spikes on support posts). |
| Warranty |
With proper care, netting should last 5-7 years. Replacements will be prorated. |
|
Works well around gardens and sweet corn patches. For corners and ends extra posts may be needed. Regular VersaNet at times will sag a little between the posts so we offer VersaNet Plus, a net with extra built in posts to reduce sag.
