Benefits

It's easier to un-do a connector than to untie a knot.
How to Use

  1. Loosen screw in the middle of connector.
  2. Slide ends of both ropes to be connected into connector, one on top and the other on the bottom.
  3. Re-tighten screw with a screwdriver.
Precautions

Check to make sure both ends of the rope are securely fastened in the connector.

Would you recommend this product? No
These connectors are awful. I tried to use them on the 6.0 mm Endurasoft rope and they would not hold it. The two halves spun around and would not grip. I have used better ones from Tractor Supply that were about 2" long and had a channel big enough to hold the rope securely.

They can slip. Recommend using the corkscrew pigtail with them.

Easier if 2 people attach the 2 ropes together. I was all thumbs.
