very large and a little heavy, but catches birds and is easy to use.

We purchased this net a couple of years ago. It is very large and does catches my large Muscovy ducks, but found it difficult to use due to it's size, in the pen and small places. And the handle bent trying to lift my large males. It sits in the barn, and we use a smaller fishing net instead.

Net is very heavy. Too heavy to catch free range birds. Handle bent after just a couple of uses. We had been using a fishing net (lighter handle) but were hoping for a similar design with a stronger net to contain an adult bird.

Very heavy and awkward to use (even for my muscular husband), and the short handle means you have to get really close to the chicken to catch it. So if you have a flighty one you still have to pretty much corner it before you can use the net.

Sturdy, well worth the money. Used it to catch some wayward turkeys and worked great. Thanks for providing this superior product.

Great net! Received OK! The "RED" handle will make it hard to lose---I hope it doesn't scare the chicks.
Thanks

I was very surprised at how large and sturdy it was. It works great as well. With the large opening it's much easier to catch my chickens. They go in easily and I can twist the net to keep them in. We love it and you can't beat the price.

I was shocked out how large/heavy this catchnet is, and how short the handle--although if the handle were longer and the net stayed the same size, I wouldn't be able to manuever the thing with any accuracy. I haven't used it yet so can't comment on its usefulness. My thought is that a longer, lighter, smaller net would work better for standard chickens and certainly for bantams, ducklings, quail. I feel this item may be better suited to larger birds who let you get up close--which my chickens don't (yet). From a humane point, I'm sure it's preferable to the hook.

Very , very sturdy and a little heavy because it is well made,a little larger a broom,. It should last for a long time!
