Works good initially however even keeping it clean we have started having problems with it refilling quickly and have to watch closely with each injection

I used this several times to drench our 90+ sheep and lambs. Seems to work well and is a big time saver. With the bottle and velcro arm band were done in an hour. The adjustment is quick so we don't over or under dose. So far, since the other reviews offer some cautions, no trouble at all, but still decided to get spare parts. Well cleaned after use, it is ready to go in minutes.

I have been using this for years for vaccinating and drenching sheep. Yes, the plastic barrel does break easily. For drenching use the larger and much stronger 12.5 ml syringe. Premier doesn't carry it but maybe they will if enough of us ask. I still have to replace a barrel once in awhile but have learned to keep a spare on hand. It is worth that minor inconvenience. I have found this brand to be the easiest and most trouble free to use. The smaller 5 ml syringe works fine for vaccinations.

I have used this drench gun for sheep and meat goats for drenching and vaccinating. It usually works very well, especially for kids and lambs. The only real problem I have had with this drench gun is that the goats have a tendency to bite down on the drench nozzle with their back teeth and twist causing the cylinder to break right at the end where the nozzle screws in. I've had to replace the cylinder on my gun several times.

I love this tool. I bought it mainly for drenching (sheep)for a flock between 150-200 individuals. It works great with Cydectin and Valbasen without clogging. I use it with the rubber stopper bottles--pour some wormer in the bottle and I'm ready to go.
