This is a ready-to-go, low-cost portable fence package. Includes everything needed to enclose horses for up to 2 weeks.

Specs

  • 330 ft IntelliTape with wind-up reel made of polycarbonate; gate handle; bucket for keeping the kit in one place.
  • 12B energizer (0.12 joules) with built-in ground stake, wire harness and battery is powered by a 6v lantern battery or 4 D cell batteries. Ground stake for the energizer is part of the support bracket and is pushed into the ground with your foot. Wires to clip energizer to the ground stake and to the fence are included.
  • Includes 5 step-in FiberRod posts with tieback tent pegs for corners & 10 Harp Clips to attach IntelliTape. For 1-strand fences, place tape about 36 in. above the ground. For 2 strands, space at 26 in. and 44 in.
  • Components for extra paddocks can be purchased and set beside this one with extra tape and posts. The same energizer will "power" up to 4 paddocks in most soil conditions.
Benefits

If a double-strand fence is required (for horses that differ in height), a 40 x 40 ft pen can be made. If a single strand is enough, an 80 x 80 ft (6400 sq ft) pen is possible (with extra posts--not included in kit).

Features the step-in footplates to enable users to push them into the soil with their feet. Has a special black ball top with a "harp" clip for holding rope/twine/tape as well as netting twine.
