651000 Sheep Jetter In Stock 1.1 $89.00

Common Uses

Used to deliver insecticide to the skin of sheep prone to get fly strike.

Specs

  • Built with three nozzles that will cover 3.5" per stroke.
  • Hand operated on/off valve for easy control.
  • Can be locked on for continuous spray.
  • All fittings made of brass and stainless steel.
  • Handle made of high quality impact resistant plastic.
  • Uses less than 1/2 gal per animal.
  • Works with any low pressure spray pump (3/8"hose not included).
  • Overall length 14".

Benefits

  • Will not soak the wool and waste the insecticide.
  • Less risk of the shepherd becoming soaked.
  • Makes certain that you get the insecticide where it needs to be.

How to Use

Attach hose from any low pressure pump system. Sprayers that are mounted on an ATVs work well. A stroke up the leg on either side of the tail and a short stroke on the back and it's done.

Precautions

Clean after use by running water through it. Do not let the unit freeze.

Trouble Shooting

If valve does not allow spray to go through, remove brass bolt at the top of the handle and clean the valve. Be careful not to lose the ball or the spring that are inside. If one of the nozzles does not flow clean it with a small wire. A paperclip will work for this. With extreme dirt you can remove one of the screws from either side of the nozzle head to reach inside.
