Premier's Electric Netting--Fast & Simple!

Even for new users, it takes less than 15 minutes to go from a roll of out-of-the-box netting to an installed fence.

Premier's Netting

  1. It's not time-consuming to install.
  2. It doesn't require a contractor.
  3. It doesn't require tools.
  4. It's so easy to move that it's often moved several times a season.
  5. It requires no "sweat energy." 600 feet can be moved/installed in an evening by nearly anyone over 12 years old.
  6. It's not strong physically.

That's why netting may be the most user-friendly "fence" ever made!

Species that it will control*

  • Livestock: sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, pigs, cattle.
  • Wildlife: deer, rabbits, foxes, coyotes, wolves, cougars, bears, raccoons
  • Poultry: nonflying ducks, geese, chickens
  • Exotics: monkeys, gorillas
  • Other: domestic dogs, horses
* The best design to control a given species differs in height and mesh size/aperture.

Range of Heights & Designs

  • Heights: 20", 30", 35", 42", 48", 68".
  • Color: white/black; green/black.
  • Grounding: standard for green-grass sites; Pos/Neg for dry sites.

Complete & Lightweight

It arrives via FedEx/UPS to your door as a complete preassembled portable fence. All line posts are prefitted into each roll. A typical roll weighs only 12 lbs.

Durable

A roll of netting will last 10 years if used with care. Lawn mowers and serious ice storms are its worst enemies.

Energizers

Netting, because it has "live" strands close to the soil, is often affected by weeds. That's why an energizer big enough for a single-wire horse or dairy-cow fence may not be big enough for netting. In areas that are often dry, a wide-impedance energizer works best.

Premier--the netting leader

About 80% of USA's electric netting comes from Premier. We've become the worldwide leader in netting improvements. How? By using it ourselves and talking daily to users. That has a way of concentrating the mind.We know how to match energizer, net design and your specific situation.

What people like about netting...

  1. That it works so well. No other portable fence comes close for keeping livestock in and their predators out.
  2. That it's so quick and simple to move. Users learn to "fence in" a few days' worth of grass instead of an entire field.
  3. That each roll is a complete fence.
  4. That it requires little tension. It adapts with ease to dips, curves, hills, ditches. "It must be straight" does not apply.
  5. That it acts as its own gate.

What people dislike about netting...

  1. That it must be moved when grass covers the lower "live" strands. (The alternative is applying a strip of herbicide to kill the weeds.)
  2. That ice and heavy snow can flatten it.
  3. That high wind can be an issue.
  4. That animals can become entangled in it and die. (On a % basis, entanglement is rare, but it can and does occur.)

To reduce entanglement risk…

  • Never allow animals/poultry on both sides of a net at the same time.
  • Never use netting during weaning.
  • Never drive animals against netting.
  • Never leave netting unenergized.
  • Use a powerful energizer.

Taller nets are not always better

Shorter nets are easier to install and remove. They have less wind resistance and are less affected by storms. And they cost less. ElectroNet and E'Net (only 35 in. tall) are usually enough for most temporary sheep/goat fencing situations.
