Woven Wire
• Better (Class III) galvanizing. So it resists rust better. And GreenCote extra polymer coating often resists rust much longer than even Class III galvanized products.
• More elastic. It will lengthen when hit by livestock, falling trees, snow and ice and retension itself automatically.
• Normal woven often has verticals every 6 in. We find woven wire with 9 in. verticals is best for sheep. Having noted that, woven wire with 12 in. verticals also works if energized offsets are used to keep coyotes away.
