Drenching and Vaccinating
Drenching for internal parasites
We deworm by drenching instead of injecting because it's:
- Safer for sheep. If an animal receives too much drench for its size, no harm is done. But some injectable dewormers, if overdosed, can send sheep into shock.
- Assures a better pelt and carcass. Vaccination sites often damage one or both.
- Safer for the operator. No risk of accidentally sticking a needle in your hand.
Vaccinating
Few things are more exasperating than having an injection gun malfunction in the middle of vaccinating your animals. For that reason, most experienced users see reliability and speed as more important in vaccinating equipment than price. Our vaccination tools are the most rugged and reliable ones we have ever used (but they will never be as trouble-free as we would prefer).
