I don't have any more chicks in the brooder for this year but I ordered these for adult bantam pairs. I love these waterers. I have them attached to the outside of the coop with just the nipple hanging inside. No roosting on it so it stays clean and the easy fill top makes watering a lot faster. No leaks and the whole top comes off for easy cleaning. I will be ordering more for chicks next spring and will continue to use them for the adult bantam breeds, as well.

Using in rabbit hutches for mom and baby chicks. Wound up with 4 batches this year. Showed one chick how to use it and the rest followed suit instantly. Even ma hen figured it out. Ordered 2 originally. One per hutch. Worked so well (I wish they were bigger) and bought 4 more. Now have two per hutch and holding up great! No more messy dumped waterers.

This has been the most helpful accessory for raising chicks. I don't really know how I ever did without it. It eliminates water all over the litter and the need to change more frequently. Also there is no poop in the water thus keeping the chicks healthier. I have six of these now.

These work great for chicks and I even see some of the adult hens coming over to use them at chick level. The price was great and I am very glad I bought them. The only issue I have with them is the metal hanger that comes with it. It would only work if you are hanging it with the nipple going thru the wire into the cage and the bottle on the outside. If you try to use it to hang the whole thing on one surface the bottle slips down and out. If you put the wire under the nipple arm, the bottle tips forward. Glad I ordered the brackets or I would not be able to figure out how to use them. If there is some other way to make it work with just the wire brackets, they need to show it in action!

So glad I purchased these. I had to show a few of the chicks how to use them to begin with, but then the rest of them followed suit quickly. It is a much cleaner and easier way to provide water to them. Another thing to make my work easier in the chicken house.
