I've tried all kinds of homemade inventions, but this feeder beats them all. There is no waste and our dog finally met her match, she can't eat out of this one!! The large orange feeder works for my full size laying hens and also the smaller bantams and call ducks. Thanks for a great product! NM

The large orange trough is great. It reduces waste considerably. The yellow chick feeder is easy to tip over and just not very good. The shipping however for the products is way over priced. Will not order anymore products from premier 1 because of the high shipping prices.

The yellow size is easy to tip and I did have a chick get stuck inside of one no harm done . The orange feeders are the best great for growing out chicks and not wasting feed very easy to fill

Not really much improvement on the older galvanised models though not cutting and dangerous which is in itself a pretty big improvement. Would be nice if feeders had some solid weight to them.
I have been searching for a good broiler chick feeder that minimizes waste. Since our feed doesn't flow well in tube feeders, i prefer trough feeders. I've been using them in the brooder with week old chicks and already notice less waste in the bedding. So far, so good!
