PoultryNet™ 12/48/3
(above) PoultryNet is effective for containing
and protecting domestic geese and ducks. Always
keep netting electrified to prevent waterfowl from
chewing on it.
We use it to fence in a pond. Keeps our birds
happy—and out of trouble!
PoultryNet 12/48/3
• 12 horizontal strands—2", 2", 2", 2",
4", 4", 4", 6", 6", 8", 8" (bottom to top)
• 48" tall
• 3" between verticals
• 10 ft between posts,
posts: .60" dia.
• Post spikes: .26" dia, 6" long
48"tall PoultryNet is more secure
against coyotes and dogs than 42" net.
Available in 82 ft and 164 ft lengths.

PoultryNet Plus 12/48/3
• 12 horizontal strands—2", 2", 2", 2",
4", 4", 4", 6", 6", 8", 8" (bottom to top)
• 48" tall
• 3" between verticals
• 6.8 ft between posts,
posts: .60" dia.
• Post spikes: .26" dia, 6" long
48" PoultryNet with extra netting
weight is more likely to sag. So we
installed more posts
(see p. 30)
to prevent
sagging. Extra posts made the netting
heavier so we shortened the length
to make the fence more manageable.
Available in 50 ft and 100 ft lengths.
Note: PoultryNet won’t stop young birds small
enough to crawl through the 2" x 3" net openings.
For these few weeks we suggest keeping them
inside or making a small temporary pen with steel
chicken wire inside the netting.
• Semi-permanent fence for
adult chickens and ducks
• Stops 4-footed predators
• Easy & fast to install/remove
• Makes its own gate
Uses
• To contain and control the movement
of chickens, ducks and other poultry.
• To prevent raccoons, coyotes, foxes,
dogs, bears and other nonflying
predators from killing poultry.
• To rotate poultry to fresh grass and to
reduce disease risks.

Illustrates PoultryNet that has too little tension—so
it sags too much. Using PoultryNet Plus (more posts)
instead of standard PoultryNet prevents this.
1. Measure the fence line.
2. Choose the length and
amount of netting needed.
Example: A 220 ft fence line
requires one 164 ft net and
one 82 ft net.
3. Choose one of the following:
• Select your preferred
net
kit and energizer kit.
–OR–
• Select net, energizer and
accessories individually
