These drinkers are the best ever! No more shavings or poop in the water which is so much healthier for chicks! I use these for my chicks up to 8 weeks old or until they go in the coop. Then they have the Premier Heated Poultry Waterer even though I don’t need to heat the water living in California.

Awesome product, very sturdy. Used for my chicks from day 1 and chicks had no issues. I also didn't have any issues with leaking/dripping. As they got older, I switched it to the horizontal nipples and have switched back and forth without any issues with leaking. I really like that it works great for a small waterer for adult chickens in quarantine or sick cages — easy to refill from outside of cages and no risk of spilling.

My juvenile coturnix quail were wearing themselves out trying to trigger the valves on nipples rated for chicks. These waterers arrived faster than I thought possible and they work perfectly; no dripping and the quail are well hydrated due to the generous capacity. I love the top access for filling. The now almost grown birds still love this product; I think these will become 1st choice for all stages of their growth.

The chicks love it!

I really like this waterer and it’s slender size, perfect for in the brooder as it doesn’t take up much space. My chicks figured it out immediately; their curiosity alone is all you need to “train” them to drink from it.
However, my one issue with the product is the hanging mechanism. It seems like it’s made to hang on a wire cage like a rabbit water bottle. It could hang on chicken wire I suppose, but then I’d have to set something else up to hang it on. I ended up finding a small container to set it on, and made sure it was set in such a way that it wouldn’t tip over if they bump it. Now they are taller, however, and I need to find a taller platform to set it on. Not convenient. I wish this had a better hanging apparatus!
