I am very pleased with the quality and overall design of the sling. It is easy to use and the goat (older nanny ~150 lb) is well supported and does not slip out. There is little to no chance of being choked if used properly. She does tend to turn in only one direction so she gets herself higher off the ground as the day goes by, but this is no fault of the sling.
We are using this sling to rehabilitate a nanny with brain worms. This nanny has not walked for over a month. We started “hanging” her (Feet are on the ground, but sling was completely holding her at first) for an hour a day, then increased it every couple of days. Currently she is using the sling for 6-8 hours/day. She is able to hold her weight and will stand alone and take a few steps after being “released”. We have had 3 other nannies in our Boer meat goat herd that have succumbed to brain worms. This is the first goat we have had any success with treating. Time will tell if it truly works.

Works great on my nubian goat! Held him in place so I could clip his hoofs by myself!

I'm using the sling to restrain my alpacas, along with tethers, to clip nails. Will also use to weigh crias.

I purchased this sling for a ewe that had a difficult birth and was down for days. It works great. Had no trouble of her slipping out and was able to hold her weight without a problem. Even our vet is shocked at the progress she made because of the sling. We used it for two days and I'm happy to report we know longer have to use it!
