These were very unsatisfactory! Hard to get on and off, wouldn’t even go on 1 hoof! Would not recommend.

Wouldn't stay on more than a minute.

Wouldn’t stay on my sheep first time because it wouldn’t tighten enough so I wrapped electrical tape around the strap to make it fit more snug. Then the buckle would not stay fastened as others have said. Overall it will not work as it is. Wrapping the buckle and leg with tape may make it stay on. As someone stated a baby boot and tape might be better and cheaper.

I got these for a footsore Icelandic sheep, to use during treatment. They are one size fits all, and really are too big for my ewe; however, they work and are sturdy and stand up to repeated use. I've found that the best way to ensure they stay on is to use some self-adhesive bandaging (e.g., "vet wrap") and start on the boot and then wrap up and onto the animal's leg and back down a couple turns. This also keeps debris from getting down into the boot. Get a spare or two so you can always have a clean one to switch out if needed. My biggest complaint with these is the not-very-effective friction buckle used to secure the strap. It doesn't really stay put, and because it's located on the front of the boot, it gets laid on and ground into the dirt and muck, and comes loose fairly easily. However, the adhesive bandaging solves that problem.

The boot fit Waggy my doe's hoof perfect. It took 2 people to put the boot on. One to hold her and the other to insert her foot into the boot. Adding the hoof soak from Premier1 was easy and the adjustable band was great. We did not need to add more vet wrap at the top. Thinking about purchasing another one in the near future.
