My baby chick's had to be indoors for 2 months. This stand was very helpful. Not only did I not worry the chick's couldn't knock it over and start a fire. Paranoia I'm sure, but safe. It's great!

You did it! The solid legs are a great improvement to an already very good product. I wish I would have known this solid leg tripod was coming out and I wouldn't have spent my money on the old style where the legs keep breaking. I wasted a lot of money on the old style.

Like this new single piece design, my other stand broke off at three of the four yellow connectors, had it about two years. If I can get those spacers I could repair and use in our other coop.

One of the leg connectors broke as I was putting it together. I would recommend extras being included in the package. I'm still able to use it very carefully.

I have always liked Premier's product quality, but am totally disappointed with the heat lamp stand. One leg had a piece broken off the end when I first took it out of the box. Then two of the leg connectors broke as we were putting it together. I never even got it totally assembled and it's broken and not usable. A very poor piece of equipment. I sure wouldn't trust this to support something as potentially hazardous as a heat lamp.
