In the pictures it looks like the standard 1" type, which is made of spring steel and is strong enough for any purpose. So I ordered two, thinking they were that type and size AS PICTURED. But when it arrived, well, they're not only the smallest I've ever seen (and I have one that was made for toy dogs), I've never seen one made this cheap, and I've been using prong collars for almost 50 years. They're neither a standard size NOR spring steel (first time I've ever seen that, too), and I expect the average fullsized buck is going to just pull the durn thing straight and run off laughing. This soft steel that bends so easily is suitable only for training puppies under four months old, or maybe young kids with no size to them yet. (In fact, on arrival one had several tines bent the wrong way, and I had to fix it so it was even usable and didn't just fall apart all by itself.) I could work around the odd size, but the material their made of is unfit for the purpose. (Or, why I don't buy metal products off Alibaba, which I'm sure is where they came from.)
No wonder they're listed as "all sales final, no returns." Bluntly, they are crap.
