Feeders are great. Have 8 of them on different pens. Saves on feed.

Great product to save your feed. Ducks took to it right away. No more wet feed no more feeding crows and other birds and now up off ground so better control for rats diwn by lake.

The answer to my small coop space issues - it's perfect!! Very easy to hang - I hung it on the inside & did not need to cut an opening. Holds a surprisingly large amount of food & feeds my small flock of 6 for days with minimal spillage. Note that crumbles or mash will not work with this. I actually switched to pellets to stay with this feeder!

Overall, I like the simplicity of the design. My chickens don't spill any feed out of this feeder but I wasn't too happy with the different hooks. They don't fit my cage at all so I could only use the smaller 4 hooks attached to zip ties. The box only supplies you with 2 zip ties, not 4, so I had to supply my own for the other 2 straps, which wasn't a huge deal but I wish they fit inside my coop slats. I don't have cheap chicken wire slats or large slats as I don't want animals getting into to the coop and these thick hooks will not fit at all.
Surprisingly enough though, once zip tied, it does hold 1/2 container of feed. Any more than that and it will bend my coop slats a bit so I don't want to push it. Half a container of feed will feed my chickens for about 1/2 a week. I like that it's up off the ground, it has 3 dividers, I can change the amount that gets poured in and all I have to do is open the top. That was a huge bonus to me—that's why I bought it. So far, so good. LOVE the rain shield—so far, no wet feed.

Really disappointed in this. Was hoping it would keep chickens from spilling feed and it doesn't. They can peck it out just as easily as with my other feeder. I got the extension, and the one bonus is that together it holds about 4 days worth of feed for my flock of 15. But I know I'm throwing money away with feed ending up on the ground. Will look for a port feeder to eventually replace this.
