I was looking for a wall mount feeder for a chicken tractor and was super excited about this design. Unfortunately I have never used a feeder that produces so much waste. There are huge piles of feed under the feeder everyday we go to move our tractor. Close to a third of the feed ends up on the ground... these expensive feeders sit empty because I cannot afford to use them (I just go through too much feed with them). Very disappointing.

Update: After about a month or so.
The seam where the white extension meets the colored base is poorly held together by a plastic button on front and back. Button does not hold!!! Having to put several screws around the unit to keep them from separating and spilling food all over! I have three of these, all of them separate! Installed screws looks good so far!

Great product! I have tried a number of feeders and this is the best. No feed on the ground!!! We haven't had a good rain yet, to test the aspect of keeping food dry, but I feel it will pass the test. If not, I'm sure just switching to a different wall/angle will do the trick.

Easiest, cleanest, simple feeders I've tried. I really like these, and recommend. Tried traditional feeders, food gets soggy, gets scattered everywhere. Tried internet ideas for 4 inch PVC DIY w/rain shield, food still gets damp, clumpy, stuck, and loading a 50 pound bag in a 4 inch hole is a pain. Save yourself time mess and money. Get these Wise Feeders!

We've struggled with finding good feeders for years. We needed feeders that all poultry could use and not have a lot of waste, plus keep the feed dry. We resorted to building our own PVC feeders earlier this year and while they helped keep the feed dry when it rained, humidity and condensation built up and let the feed get soggy anyway. Plus, only one chicken or duck at a time could eat and it costs the same to build as most feeders that we've bought. One frustrated google search led me to this UK product and this site, which I already had bookmarked for future purchases anyway so I bought one, installed it and loved it immediately! I've just bought two more! They were a little more costly than any other feeder we've ever bought but seeing no feed out on the ground makes me think these things will pay for themselves when I don't have as much wasted feed. Fantastic product!
