electronet not working when damp

I've recently started using Electronet for my sheep to graze in areas where there is no permanent fencing. I whipper snipped the area where the fence line is but have found that when it is damp or raining, the fence is no longer electrified. Is there something else I need to do to keep it up and running?

Usually when there is no reading on the fence at all—the hot wire is touching metal. Please check all your post to make sure the net has not slipped down and touching the spike at the bottom of the post. And check to make sure the net is not touching a building or any other fence you may have close by.

If you have more questions please contact me at 800-282-6631.
Thank you,
Sara
