1. Fills from top. 2. Make sure valve (see photo above
right) is closed when filling. Once full, screw the cap
back on and open the valve to enable the water to
flow. Water will stop on its own due to vacuum seal.
Water level in base is high so be sure to set it on
reasonably flat ground to avoid spillage.
(above) To fill 5 gal waterer: remove lid and fill to
capacity. Replace lid and place the waterer where
you need it. Remember: 5 gal weighs 40 lbs.

I have used these waterers now since Premier has

So easy to fill, clean, and move. Also easy to add
medication or other supplements to the water. They
are heavy duty and have outlasted other waterers.

While the opening in the top needs to be enlarged
for cleaning, there is nothing on the market that is this
large, fillable from the top and keeps bedding from
being scratched (immediately) into the bowl. Another
great find from Premier!
