Feeders
Because flock size varies—from 3 birds to over 50,
we now offer feeders to match.
All of our feeders will feed common feeds including
ground feed, crumbles, whole grains and pellets.
Many feeders have grills to prevent birds from
scratching feed out of the feeder and wasting it.
• Chick Trays (below) allow baby chicks easy
access to their food before they transition to
conventional feeders.
• Chick Stands (below) raise feeders or waterers out
of the litter to prevent soilage.
• If you are raising a few birds in a small coop in
the backyard—look at the Classic Feeders (see p.
14) . They are large enough to hold feed for several
birds but don’t take up a lot of coop space.
• For larger flocks consider the Ascot or Handy
Feeders. They’re both proven British outdoor
poultry designs.
Ascot Feeders (see p. 15 ) are a unique compact
design that come with or without grills that can
be used indoors and out.
Handy Feeders (see p. 16) include ergonomic
internal carry handles and a version with a grill.
