The sturdy poles hold the fence
up nice and straight. Double spikes
make it super easy to put up, even
in rocky ground. My husband and
I moved the chickens to fresh grass
every week all last summer and the
fencing was very easy for the two
of us to move. We lost chickens to
predators before getting the fence,
haven’t lost any in the year since.

soil is not too hard people love
these because the spikes can be
pushed in with your foot.

verticals. (Sheep and goat
net users have the option of
nets with strutted verticals.)
Installed nets with string
verticals must have slightly
more tension than those
with struts to prevent
the strands from sagging
between posts.
Our 2011/12 PoultryNet
posts are 18% larger in
diameter than earlier posts
(also 18% larger than
competing nets)— so they’re
more able to support the extra
weight without flexing.

remove/install than standard
spike but better in soft soils
against wind, snow, ice.
Double Spike (DS). Easier
to install than single spikes
because they can be pushed
