Love the size. Not sure the vacuum to hold the drench in is tight enough and if working sheep and holding often dripped drench out. I tightened the shaft and backing but still not sure. And the lock screw to have set measurement is too loose (may be because it’s new and I need to put some dirt on it.) Several times in middle of drenching I had to back it off. It is what I wanted and is diff than others I have and MAYBE will be adjusted to be a better tool to help a single shepherd take care of his sheep.

Worked great!

This drenching gun works as it should. I have had no problems with it and used it 4 times, just clean it when you’re done. I put a little coating of olive oil on the “O” ring to key it from sticking and be careful not to pinch it when reassembling and it should work just fine. As for adjusting the dosage as was mentioned by another reviewer, the stopper on the shaft is adjustable by 1cc. This is a great inexpensive drench gun for a small flock.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are talking about. Mine works great. I drenched 30 ewes and my lambs with no trouble at all. O-ring worked fine, held suction, and only dripping is what is left in the metal pipe. If you’ve got a small flock and are wondering if this is good, go ahead and get it. It’s a great cheap drench gun that holds up. I’ve found everything Premier 1 offers is quality.

The rubber o-ring is oversized and does not seat well making cleanup a hassle.
