Electrified netting has been an essential tool on our farms since 1978. It is difficult to imagine life without it. That others share this view is proven by the demand for it from sheep and goat owners across North America. (We were the first to introduce it to the US and now supply 80% of all that's in use.)

I got this netting for KuneKune pigs so I could rotate them on grassy areas. Simple to set up and electrify and does a great job at containing them. Easy to move. Great fencing for the price.

Way better product than the netting sold at the local farm store and a little cheaper. I second the flimsy post comment I had the same problem with the cheap single spike farm store net. Also I noticed there is way less sag with this fence then the farm store fence.

This was our fifth ElectroNet. We use them for daily rotational grazing for our Gulf Coast Sheep. They are easy to set up and move. We like the fences so much that I was excited to get this one for a birthday present. I do have trouble holding the whole bundle of poles at one time, but so far have managed. For most of the year we have damp soil and have appreciated the double spikes.

It seemed like I had just ordered it and it was at my door - we put up the fence that day - they set up was easy unroll and stick the posts in the ground, however, with our drought our ground was hard and I was a little scared trying to set this flimsy posts in the ground, we drove a hold first and then put them in, I am really scared those posts are going to just snap - we have moved both fences once and also noticed that there should be more posts, we had just a couple places that gaped a lot when setting it a second time, I think more post would have helped -

The fence kit is easy to set up, that is the good news. I didn't like the fence posts, they are flimsy. They need more stiffening and should have a place on bottom of the post to use the foot to aid in ground insertion. Much like the corner posts. Don't have a recommendation on way or the other. It is currently in the field for evaluation.
We do have this netting in a double spike version that you are describing (item #201005 for 164' roll and item #201105 for 82' roll). -- Premier

Electro Net is just as good now as it was 10 years ago! I'm still using some old rolls about that age! Would have liked to try the double spike as the ground is so hard - there was talk once about a cover to protect so they could be driven in with a hammer but I didn't find anything along those lines... I'm weaving paths over the hills and through the woods to get some extra graze and it works wonderfully.

This is my favorite fencing in the netting lines. I move my sheep often using a battery charger and our soil is very rocky. With this fence I simply connect to the ground wire and the hot wire and the fence goes live without driving a ground rod.
Our sheep respect this fence even when they are pressed to keep inside a less desirable space when a lusher lot is on the other side.

I have been using the ElectroNet to graze sheep in grass at the ends of fields and in road ditches where a permanent fence isn't an option. And to rotational graze my sheep. It works great, the sheep stay in and I haven't had any problems with predators or neighbor dogs getting in with the sheep.

Works like a charm. We have had several sections for 5 years that have taken a beating in a very harsh environment(breaks and broken poles) yet they still function like new. Just ask my friends who make the mistake of touching the fence because they don't believe it puts out that big a shock :)

I have quite a few rolls of this Netting and use it for my Boer goat herd, Beef cattle and horses. It is extremely easy to handle and install. In our hilly terrain I do sometimes have to add extra posts but it is really easy to do. I have some rolls that I use year round and others that I only use for pasturing. I have yet had one fail or stop working and they are easy to repair if damaged.

I am very happy with the electro-net I purchased from Premier 1 Supplies. I really like the double spike step-in posts. It is really handy putting the net up as the single spike would be difficult when the ground was hard. It is very effective at keeping the goats in, but it does sag when there are tall weeds along the edge of it (probably remedied by cutting the weeds first).

The net is light, high quality, and came with excellent instructions for setting up. I am disappointed that the Pos/Neg net is only available in single-spike. It does sag a little bit, so it would also have been nice to have the PLUS option in Pos/Neg. We live in a very dry, high wind area so it was unfortunate to have to choose between conductivity and structural stability. We are making it work though and are happy with the net we purchased.

We have used Premier's electro net fencing since 2006. We have, over the last 5 months, purchased 6 new sections of 35" double spike fencing in the 164' lengths. It is easier to install than the single spike fencing, far more stable, and less prone to sagging & blowing over. I will agree with Colleen/Bruce H that it is more difficult to hold than the shorter lengths and single spike fencing. But once you get used to it, it is a much better fence.

We have always used the 42" version of ElectroNet and found it to be very good to work with, move, sturdy. We have never had a problem with coyotes or dogs, though large cats can jump it to pick off smaller animals without much problem. We decided to try the shorter version since our biggest problems are canine and have had no problem at all with them going through or over the 36" E'Net. We prefer the stiffness (non-drooping) of the ElectroNet over the E'Net. Light weight and easy to handle and set up or take down.

I purchased 4 rolls of PN# 201005 It worked great for me I had trouble in really rocky ground gettting the spikes into the ground. I used a drill and on old drill bit just smaller than the spikes to get a hole started and they went in great afterwards. Great Product for a great price.

The Pos/Neg ElectroNet® 9/35/12, (35" x 164' roll), single spike was purchased around two months ago for dispersed camping with Meka, a Great Pyrenees dog. It keeps her in camp without the need to tie her with the usual concerns about becoming tangled up and also keeps the skunks and raccoons from trying to access her food. The fence has been set up in as little as 10 minutes and taken down in the same time. Corner braces were made using notched 1/2 inch PVC. End posts were replaced with 1/2 inch PVC which are slipped over a rod driven in the ground. Another rod driven adjacent to the fence allows a gate to be opened keeping the gate upright and out of the way. My only regret is that I did not discover ElectroNet years ago.Great product!

My wife put up four rolls of it in under an hour for her goats she loves it, No more worries about the bear trying to make a snack out of them or them going where they're not wanted... neighbors or the road. She said from now on this is the only fence we will ever use. She put ground stakes in around the farm so that all she needs to do is fold roll and go when time to move the herd. She loves it and is happy with it so I am too. Thanks for a great product. Little Goat Farm.

Overall this netting is terrific. Only criticism is the posts are too flimsy really to pull the netting as tight as it should be. Wish I'd never bought the chicken netting, which is too heavy to keep tight and draws extra power off the solar box. Could have just used this instead.

Effective. Sets up easily. However, after one week of use, a 5 month old ewe lamb somehow got caught in the netting and died. I am still using it, as we do managed intensive rotation grazing. I am worried about whether or not use it when the ewes have their lambs. How will the lambs know about the killing power of the fence?
The best way to keep adult sheep out of the netting is to make sure that you always maintain
at least 3000 volts on the fence. This will keep them afraid of it and they will stay away.
The same thing works with young lambs after they are a few days old. The most dangerous
time is when they are first born and can stumble into the net. They do not always have the ability to pull themselves out in time. -- Premier

I bought one roll about 2 months ago so I can rotate my sheep around our unfenced "yard". I set it up with a solar charger for full portability and it is wonderful! I've had no escapees and I can sleep at night knowing my sheep and the guardian puppy are safe behind an electric fence. I'm ordering a second roll today!

This stuff is GREAT!! Originally ordered two rolls of 164 foot electroNet for my sheep. Just got my order for three more rolls in. It takes me 5 minutes to unroll and setup, and about 8 minutes to take down and move, only because I get hung up in brush and have to untangle it. I doubt I will bother with permanent fence again! Will definitely be ordering more soon. Oh yeah, make sure you read the instructions FIRST, it will save you a lot of unnecessary hassle.

Oh My on ground that is hill stretching this fence so that it is level and straight and tight is quite a challenge. Each corner will require two support posts so that you can "brace the corner" in two direction similar to putting up a tent. Portable is not exactly what I would call it. Every time you move it your corners will be in different and then you have to do the brace posts. The plastic portable brace posts are actually too flimsy if you really want to pull this fence tight. Save you money and put up a permanent fence.....

I absolutely love the double spikes! I thought they'd make it more difficult to roll up and then re-set the fencing (with two spikes instead of one) but no problems. And, the double spikes are great here in the east with our softer, wetter soil. Thank you Premier!

I love this fence!! I got the 164' for my 3 fiber sheep. It is really easy to set up and move, I can make it odd shapes for them to graze around my flower beds, and they learned to respect the fence within minutes. Easy to turn on and off, I leave it out in the rain, stood up to a wind storm. Gordon in customer service was excellent - walked me through set up, was clear, professional, and friendly. I went with solar power and could not be happier!

Purchased this product to protect my new bee yard and garden from small critters. Over the weekend we had torrential rains and the nearby creek overflowed - 18 inches deep. The fence held in place and prevented $50 worth of landscaping timber from floating downstream. Bees OK, too. Didn't think I'd need a fence to keep my garden from floating downstream! Product appears well made for intended purpose. Thanks.

I use a lot of net products on our farm for both our poultry and our sheep & cattle. I move some form of net almost every day.
ElectroNet is our go to net. I own about 6 164 foot rolls and we rotate livestock daily under high density grazing using it. We run cattle and sheep together. This product is light and fairly durable. The vertical plastic supports help to keep it upright. This product is at the heart of our business.
Buy item #201000, it is the best price for a solid product. The double spike, item # 201005, is much harder to move. I bought one to try it and I regret it. The double spike gets caught in the net all of the time. It does not lend itself to daily moves or even weekly moves. It takes longer to set-up because you have to be carful not get it tangled badly. The added weight is a problem to. You start to notice the weight when you have 30 foot in your role to pick-up. Stick with item #201000, it has served me well.

Having already been accustomed to poultry netting, and having just gotten our first four ewes, I was eager to try this netting for our sheep. I was not disappointed. The netting is very easy to use, even more so than the taller, heavier poultry netting. One complaint I have about both products is that the spikes often come out of the posts when I pull up the netting to move it. We have extremely hard ground, and have to pound our posts in with a rubber mallet. Driving a pilot hole would solve this problem, but I'm lazy! Other than this, no complaints. We even use this netting around pigs, and it works great (though they sometimes cover up the bottom strand, and we have to dig it out).

Wow,this really works! My climate is very dry and the soil is rock hard sand and rocks. My terrain is quite hilly. The Pos/Neg netting eliminates the whole troublesome issue of earth grounding. It is really easy to set up (I drove pilot holes by hammering a large tent stake into the ground and slipping a fence stake in as I slipped the tent stake out)and contours with the terrain really well. Happy goats!

I love this product. It is easy to install and is currently containing goat does, kids, and a calf. It is so nice to be able to move them around the property when the grass gets eaten down. I have already told several people that this is a must have for people who have limited pasture space. One person can easily install the fence. Your fast shipping and customer service is also outstanding. Thank you.

I bought two 164-foot rolls and ordered three more a few days later. I've raised goats for 30+ years and appreciate anything that keeps them in. I'd recommend the few extra dollars to get the double spike; much easier to "step in" hard soil. The system is a two-person job for setup on brushy ground where branches can get hung up in the mesh, but it is a breeze with one person on relatively open ground.I would also recommend melting the ends of the nylon ropes with a match to keep them from unraveling.

I am an absolute newbie that just bought our first two lambs 2 weeks back (at an auction - that was a mistake, but this fence was NOT). The fence was easy to figure out, goes up nicely and contains our little lambs perfectly. I've heard sheep will test the fence constantly and I'll say the one time I forgot to turn it back on, one lamb was out later that day. So, an electric fence without electricity is no good. :)
It is my only fence, so the stirrup posts at the corners are a MUST. I only regret not ordering more stirrup posts. I got 4, and wish I'd ordered 6 or 8 for my 164' fence.
I have more fence than I need, but I use the excess to create additional space for them to move into and then close up the other end. That has worked very nicely since I'm moving these guys every couple days.
Very pleased with the fence and the solar charger kit too!

We have been using Electronet fencing on our farm since 1990. Over the years various builds have been sold by Premier and much of that early netting has suffered the rigors of time, sunlight exposure and accidental animal impact. The early versions were made in England and came in 150 ft. rolls. Easy to carry and use. We still have some of that netting and use it though we prefer the new style made in Germany. It is a bit heavier duty and comes in the 164 ft. rolls. Our only complaint with the new netting is that it is hard to get your hand around a complete bundle of it when either laying it out for setups or gathering it in. Often the bundle can't be completely held in hand and results in dropped posts. The longer length also can cause some added routing moves it your HTEF lines are spaced for the older 150 ft. nettings. Other than this minor issues this product is really a great tool for rotational grazing and worth the investment!
