We love these for our goats - we snip off the loop-part and use a metal chain link to attach the tags to the our heavy-gauge metal chain collars. The tags we have are still clear and legible after two-plus years of heavy-duty goat wear and long after all the eartags have come off.

The tags are great but the chain will not stay on my goats. I don't know what they are doing to get it off, but I keep finding them on the ground. Break away is great for safety, but this is too flimsy for tough goats. Probably gonna just go with ugly ear tags or tattoos.

Purchased the neck tags first for ease of application. When they arrived I was most impressed with the feel of the plastic. They were tough yet bendable. Not hard plastic like the ear tags that came with the sheep. I use them on St Croix sheep and the printing size is very clear. You will need pliers to pull the tab through the slot but once on, they are great. My order was processed and shipped out right away. I was surprised to see them as quickly as I did. Staff was very helpful in my decission. Good folks.

Great tags for guard dogs. Love the free laser imprinting, which never fades. The tags never come off the collars, despite our rough country. They take either a bit of hand strength or some pliers to get them on, but they never come off on their own, so no complaint there.

Awesome tag, awsome free personalization. Found the two 'slots' for the tag to attach by to be very, very handy. Our LGD hasn't found a way to remove it yet, but if she does, we'll pick up more as the price and quality can't be beat.

My kids are using these on their breeding ewes & lambs at show. Love them! The names stand out bright & clear. No one else in our 4-H group has them, but I bet they will next year!

This is a great product. I got them as I.D. tags for all my Border Collies. Any one can easily read the information on them which makes them far superior to the usual dog tags that get scratched and become unreadable quickly. Plus, every one loves the idea of livestock tags for the working Border Collies! Having already used them on my sheep I know they will last for years and stay serviceable. The ordering was easy and shipment very fast. Thank you. One suggestion: make a slightly smaller size for the slightly smaller dogs.

I have had problems keeping i.d. tags on my farm dogs as they get torn off by shrubbery, fences and whatever. As we have developed a wolf population my dogs have been leaving the farm and chasing further. The LGD tags are flexible and tough;and can be read from a distance. Now, if the dogs stray farther than our neighbors; they are easily referenced by both our name and phone number. I had to close my sheep project due to herd health, I still have horses and my mixed pack of dogs (3) are family pets as well as working dogs. We have a miles of wheat ground for them to run in, and I have covered a lot of it on occassion looking for the strayed animal. Thankyou!

Love these neck tags! Imprinted names stay bright. I use them on my Nubian does. Have several milkers who look alike and seeing their name at a glance is easier than checking tattoos. Visitors enjoy them too because they are able to refer to the goat by their individual name.

Nice big tags. pre-cut holes to feed ends in - however the pre-cut holes should be bigger.
