The automatic timer shuts off the scale after only a few seconds of not sensing movement. Waiting for the scale to turn back on nearly doubles the amount of time it takes me to process newborn lambs.

The scales perform exactly as described. It is easy to use and accurate. Weighing newly born goats and lambs is simple and requires only a place to hang the scales (I use a short length of chain suspended from a rafter).

Used it to weigh 18 of our baby kids and it worked great.

Is accurate and works well up to about 30 - 40 pounds. Anything above that the metal hanger pulls right out of the top of the plastic case. I managed to put it back together and used contact cement to seal the top of the plastic case and it exploded again. The issue is with the design of the top of the plastic case. I would recommend purchasing a more robust scale.

They are fine as long as you don't weigh anything over about 40#. They say up to 120 but the first one exploded with a 90# lamb. They sent us a new one and it exploded with a 60# lamb!! CHEAP Chinese junk, I've seen .50 cent calculators built tougher!
