Best permanent fencing for goats???

Author: Megan  Date:   09-02-08 10:33 We raise fainting goats and I am interested in electric net fencing. Our goats do not climb but I am worried about dogs, coyotes, and other animals getting in to the goats. We live in Texas and it can get very dry for months. What type of fencing woudl you suggest?? I have been looking at the PermaNet 48 as we will need 3 seperate "paddocks...shoud I also buy some sort of gate for each one??

Author: Gordon  Date:   09-02-08 18:36 PermaNet would be a good choice, but as dry as you can get you might want to use the Pos neg version. You should know that your fainting goats do have a higher risk of injury with an electric fence than other breeds.
