moveable fencing for sheep

Author: Lynn Bauer  Date:   10-21-08 15:22 We just got 13 ewes and are very new at the sheep business. We first put up a permanent non-electrical fence on a large pasture but would like to put up temporary fencing on smaller hay fields during the winter and move the sheep around. What type of fencing would you suggest? A friend highly recommended your company for fencing and we are excited to find this site!

Author: Mandy  Date:   10-24-08 16:40 Lynn, The easiest temporary fencing is the electric netting. For most sheep we use the ElectroNet 9/35/12. If the sheep are of a larger breed or are flighty, then I would look more to the ElectroStop 10/42/12. You can also use a 3-4 strand Intellitwine fence, but is more work to put up and take down.
