Horse fencing/cross fencing; Step by Step; A-Z installion for the novice

I'm looking for a step by step method of setting up horse fencing. I'm ignorant of how to get best results from hotwire regarding connections from main charger to multiple tape/rope lines.

My horse is fine with one line of hotwire but, I just got 2 ponies & they constantly break out thru my friends 2 strand hot line (& it's HOT), she recommends that I set up 3-4 strands.

I would like to use solar pack and break up several areas on 5 acres into grazing areas. I will need a main boundry line (3-4 strands) to be constantly hot and will need to make 2 separate areas to run (rotating depending which paddock they graze) from the main unit. Wondering if I will need more then one charger to accomplish my plans. I can offer drawings to give perspective.

Do you have a "Hotwire Fencing for Dummies" book?

Noe,
Since you have several questions it would be best to call. Our fence consultants can help you with your fencing situation(s). To help with your planning, you can see each of our horse fence types by going to our website, click on Horses (top horizontal bar) and then click on Fencing (column at the left). This will bring up all of the horse fencing possibilities.

With each fence type there is a yellow box underneath the main picture in which you can download diagrams with installation instructions. If you still need assistance, please call 800-282-6631.

Thank you,
Jody
