E'net 35 goat escapes
Author: Kris

I recently purchased and installed the E'net 35 to contain my 8 goats while a new permanent pen and housing is being constructed. It took them less than 3 minutes to figure out that as long as they didn't contact the fence with their nose, they could stick their heads through an opening and drag the fence along with them to their destination. We have not been able to figure out any solution for this. Suggestions?
Thanks, Kris.

Hello Kris,

I need to ask a couple of questions.
How many nets are you energizing?
What type of energizer is attached to your net?
What was the voltage on your fence when you tested it prior to letting the goats in?
How many ground rods do you have in and what is the length of your rods?
If the goats did not have prior knowledge of electric fence, how did you first train them?

Let me know these answers and then I'll have a few more facts to let you know how to proceed.

Thanks
