I was planning to order a ram shield, but not sure which size to order. My ram is a 1 1/2 year old dorper. But his head isn't much bigger than my big katahdin ewes. They've put the katahdin breed in the small size group and the dorper in the large size group...and their heads are the same size. I'm sure he is still growing. He's about 150 pounds.
Should I err to the larger or smaller? Is the leather shield the same size in both sizes? Does someone have the measurements of the sizes?
