Fencing to be done

I am going to do an electric fence for my parents(I have done them in the past),
It is about a 800 foot run of 5 strands of intelitwine with the top strand being the new intellitwine extra using T posts, what would be the spacing?
Do you think this setup would be okay with a horse when using the plastic T post end caps? Do you think your hot-shock 150 would work,I am in southern Oregon on the coast,so the soil it pretty moist most of the year but it will hold goats to control the horrendous blackberry problems I will be using large grounding rods to be safe but what would be an appropriate length of grounding rods?
Any suggestions ot ideas would be greatly appreciated

I would space the posts 25-30 feet apart.
The HotShock 150 will do a great job and will need at least a 6 ' ground rod.

Okay thanks,I may do a 2 strand horse fence usng wooden posts(I won't be setting them in) and one of your ropes then later upgrade it with inteli twine extra for goats. Thanks for the help that saves money by spacing them further apart,
