Pos/Neg vs. Std. Netting fence

Hello, I've looked around for a simple answer to the difference (i.e., why you'd choose one over the other, not the theory) between these two types of fence, but haven't come across it yet. Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks.

The difference between a standard - all hot net and a pos. neg net is how the fence is wired. You would want to use a Pos./Neg net is dry, sandy or rocky conditions where grounding may be an issue. When an animal touches both a positive wire and a negative wire, he would receive a shock. Otherwise if you were using an all hot net in dry conditions, there may not be enough moisture in the soil to complete the circuit.

Thank you,
Stephanie
