HT Woven Wire

I'm about to start installing some of the Greencote HT Woven wire with smooth HT wire along the top and offset outside for predators.

Problem I'm having is all the helpers I have insist that I need to put the posts closer together than I intended to, which was one of the reasons I wanted to go with the HT woven. My intention was to put wooden line posts every 100 feet and 3 metal T posts at 25' intervals between the 100' spaced wooden line posts. Oh no they say, the posts must be much closer together than that or the fence will flop over on the top between posts. Is the post seperation I planned to use too much?

Also, is there some description on how to use the woven wire clamp??

Thanks,
Jennifer

Jennifer,
The post spacing you have planned is fine- as long as the area is fairly flat or only a gentle slope. If it is very steep or you have lots of sudden changes (inclines or declines) I would put the posts closer (12'-15'). I would not stretch the post spacing out any farther. The fence will not flop over in between posts, remember this is high tensile so it will have quite a bit of tension on that helps keep it upright.

We do not have a written description on how to use the woven wire clamp. I would be glad to walk you through if you want to give us a call.
Thank you,
