fencing through the woods

Hello,
In your videos, I noted that it shows installing in fields. I'm looking for a net type electric fence to go though a fairly wooded lot. This is to deter deer. I have read the BB and I don't see the effect of vines and weeds coming in contact with the strands of wires. Would this "short" it out? I am in a development but the deer population is awful, and of course the ticks!
Thank you,
Thea Holmes

Any of the electric nets will also work in wooded areas. For deer you will probably want one of the PermaNets. The more vegetation on the fence, the more drain it will have on the energy. It is best to keep most of the vegetation off if possible. Most energizers can handle some vegetation.
