I recently purchased a doe around 7-8mos old (Rosebud), two grown does and one buck. All her (Rosebud) life, she has been with full grown does that are very agressive and what's worse the previous owner fenced the does and the buck together. The previous owner just feed them sweet feed once a day, hay and let them browse, and never handled them or even named them. She was never able to get any of the feed due to the other grown goats (which they dashed at it like mad goats), therefore, she will not eat any type of feed at all. She will only eat hay and browse. I am very stressed about this, because I am worried about her health. I have placed all the goats on a very carefully planned nutritious diet, where each have their own space and same amount of food, and separated the buck. I am having to re-program, and re-condition these goats. I am working with her, trying different strategies. I just don't know what to do for her. I really need advice on this. Thanks so much.
