Attaching different nets together
Author: Sally

I have a Permanet 12/48/3 and a Permanet 10/48/6 that I tried to attach together. I tried by clipping the metal clips together and also with a Powerlink--neither worked. Can you attach nets of different types to each other and run it off the same battery?

Thanks!
Sally

You should be able to connect the fences by plugging in the end clips together.

Make sure your energizer is large enough to handle 2 nets.
You want at least 3000-4000 volts on the net when testing.

If you are not getting any power on the fences check to make sure there is no shorts. Test one fence and if you are getting a good reading-then turn off the energizer and connect the other fence, turn on the energizer and test the second fence- if this is not getting a reading then check for shorts. Make sure the second line on the fence is not touching any of the metal spikes on the post(most of the time it is the first or last post)by pulling out the post and looking making sure NO white and black wire is touching the metal. And make sure the fence is not shorted to any other wood or metal.

Hope this helps.
