Voltage loss

Can anyone explain a voltage loss we're having from our energizer (read-out 9000) to our electric net clamp (read-out 5000)? The reading at the clamp and around the fence is consistent, but is this a normal drop off from the box to the clamp?

The reading on the clamp is the reading on the whole fence line. So you will have some voltage loss due to the pressure on the fence. Exp: The lines them selves, the weed load...
