Secondary/additional grounds for e-net
Author: Dana H

I have 4 rolls of 164' sheep e-net that I'd like to connect. I wonder if during the summer when our ground is dry and hard if there would be a benefit to adding secondary ground rods at the far end of the run of fencing? It would be in a low and shady spot so it would stay damper than where my solar charger is usually plugged in. Is this do-able? If so would additional rod/s placed half way along the run of fence be of benefit? Or am I just worrying unnecessarily? Thanks in advance.

Dana,
It won't hurt anything to add ground rods at the middle and end of your fence, but it really won't help anything either. Depending on where you live and how dry the soil does get, you may not need to worry about it.

Thanks. I'll save my $$ and just periodically water the 3 rods that I have already!
