sheep gates

we are getting two south down baby doll sheep in a week.
we have a run in barn with a 92 inch opening .
thinking that we should have doors or gates on the run in for bad weather
and extra night time protection. there is outside horse fencing and we have enclosed
a smaller area for now with hog panels. What do you think?

Lois,
You will want to have some sort of gate for the barn, especially for protection against predators. As long as the animals can get in out of the wind, that is usually enough to shelter them from the elements. On your hog panels, I would suggest using an electrified wire/rope at the top to discourage a predator from trying to climb over the fence.
