I am posting this question out of curiosity an odd thing happened to a friends flock of sheep. I do not know all the specifics but essentially they have a flock of 6 or so ewes and they put a Feb born ram in with them for breeding purposes and when they checked on the sheep after work(8hrs) the ewes had injured the ram to the point that he needed to be put down. What could be the cause of this? I am not aware of the ages if the ewes but would expect them to be an assortment of ages. Thanks for any replies
