poultry fence mallard ducks

Just set up 48 in poultry fence this weekend. My duckilings went right thru it! Will adult mallard ducks still be able to slip thru the fence? I am really disappointed so far.

We suggest putting the ducklings and chicks in the netting after 6 weeks old. We put the following notice on all PoultryNets: (Note: Not effective with baby chicks that are small enough to crawl through the net openings and therefore are not deterred by the electric shock.)

The adult mallard should be ok. Make sure to have a reading of 3000 volts or more.

Thank you,
Sara

Sarah,
We put a wire fence inside the electric one for now. The ducklings are 8 weeks old and still got out. I was just hoping they will stay in as adults.
Thanks,
Karen
