Coyote

Hi,

Last year I bought PoultyNet (48 inch tall) and the Kube 4000. I've been using the net but have not energized it yet. two weeks ago I had a coyote kill one of my chickens during the day, so now I'm finally planning to set up the Kube. Is this a good energizer agains coyotes? any special tips?

Just connect the energizer to the clips at either end of the netting. Will need a ground rod of at least 6 feet. Test the fence and make sure to have a reading of 3000 volts or more.

thanks - is 3000 volts usually enough against coyotes?

Should be, coyotes will try to go under the fence first and get their nose shocked.
