I am looking for a 9 volt battery to power an XM satellite radio. Presently I am using a pack of 8 rechargeagle AA NiMH batteries of 2500 miliamperes each and this runs the reciver about 4 hours. How long would one of your 9 volt alkaline batteries (say the 55 AH one) run this receiver? I appreciate your help as you can see that I am electronically challenged.

Jeff
From the information you have provided is sounds like 9 volt EzePower Alkaline battery will not run you equipment at all. I would suspect that your radio batteries are running off 12 volt (8 AA batteris x 1.5 volts each = 12 volts).

Thanks
Scott

The AA NiMH batteries are 1.2 v each for a total of 9.6 v and it runs fine on that although the equipment calls for a nominal 9 v output.

Due to the power output of the 9 volt EzePower Alkaline battery only being approximently 350-400 milliamperes (per hour) and your usage of 625 milliamperes per hour (2500 / 4 hrs) is more usage than the 9 volt EzePower Alkaline battery capable of suppling
