combs and cutters

1. In reading about comb and cutter adjustments- When the comb's bevel has been ground off due to sharpening- where do you set the cutter?
2. In using an EB handpiece, the cutter will want to travel past the edge of the comb on a couple of cutters, any idea what may be wrong?
3. Some of my cutters have developed a thick side and a thin side, I think this is from my current sharpening service, with your lapping service do the 4 point cutter wear even and can you take a thick/thin cutter and even it out?

Lapping the cutters will not take off enough metal to even them up.
They will need to be ground .
