height of heat lamps?

At what height would you recommend putting heat lamps for lambs in jugs?

It all depends on how cold it is and what size bulb you use. most people
will put the lamp no lower than 20"-24" above the floor.

It's 20 degrees here in Minnesota for the high! Will be using red 250 watt infrared blubs.
