cow and garden electric fence

I am intrested in replacing my shock box and also putting a garden in next to the two beef cows I get every year (and hold on to for 10 months or so).I want to run everything off an intellishock 52B if you think that is the right type to get.I presently have an acre and a half fenced in with a single strand of electric wire.Located in CT. and on a hill that has a brook running through it.The top part of the hill gets dry in the summer but the bottom is wet and some what lush through out the year.I want to put in a garden and use the shocker box to help keep the deer and cattle out of it and keep the cows in the field. What do you recomend and how should I set this up.Should I add an extra wire to my single strand for the cows and should I use four or more wires to keep the deer out of my 50x45 size garden. How high should the deer fence be ? and I have 10 ten foot long 3" diamiter galvinized poles available for garden wiring hook ups.Can I use rubber hose to insulate the wire against the pipes ? How would you go about setting this up.Ive read you data about the Intel shock 52B.I really want to keep the cows in and the pasture and the cows /deer /racoons away from the garden. What types of hook ups do I need ? I would like to place this order on line and I really could use your advice? Thanks Steve
